Last week I gave you the 411 on holiday gifts for all of the gardeners in your life. Lest you think I’m advocating that you embrace the commercialism of the season with wholehearted abandon, this week I’m here to remind you of the true spirit of the holidays: giving. That’s what gifts are really about afterall; taking the opportunity to give to your friends and family. The holidays are about more than that, though, they’re about giving of yourself to those in need. Ideally this is an attitude that we should all incorporate into our daily life, but we all need a little encouragement along the way.
So, without further ado, here are 20 quotes to inspire you to give back, both to those near and dear and to your community.
